The objective is to find successful activities in agriculture and gastronomic tourism
Within the Agroeconatura 2020 Project: Territorio Sierra Espuña, the 'Agroeconatura 2020 Agroecology and Nature' Technical Conference will be held, on Tuesday 25 at the Ministry of Agriculture and on Wednesday, September 26 at the Las Tinajas hall of the City Council of Pliego.
The objectives of the Conference are to share experiences for the agro-ecological transition in everything related to production, transformation, distribution and commercialization in protected natural spaces.
In this way, study how to promote the consumption of foods from the Natura 2000 network and agricultural areas located in buffer zones of protected natural areas.
Analyze successful agrotourism and gastronomic tourism activities in protected natural areas, an important issue for the farmers of Pliego and the surroundings of the Sierra Espuña.
This project responds to the action 'Value enhancement of agriculture, livestock and traditional beekeeping, of the Action Plan of the CETS (2017-2021)'.
The work carried out to achieve this action has allowed us to get help for innovation projects in rural areas, the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development ( FEADER), for an amount of € 200,000.
