Last Friday a meeting was held in Murcia between the mayor of Pliego, Pedro Noguera, and the General Director of Water, Sebastián Delgado, to deepen on the hottest issues around the municipality of Pliego within the powers of this Directorate General .
After a first contact a few weeks ago when Delgado visited the municipality, this meeting was held where Pedro Noguera expressed the need to urgently fix a competition path of the General Directorate which is very deteriorated and which is a very important rural route as it is the path of the Huerta.
In addition, it requested some type of subsidy, help or extra budget to carry out the road to La Almoloya, since after the agreement signed with the company that owns the land, CEFUSA-El Pozo, that road must be done before April 30 of 2019 so that the use and promotion of this important archaeological site that houses the first parliament known in Europe can be done with more security and even the site itself.
The status of the different actions within the Irrigation Plan was also one of the main issues of this meeting.
Pedro Noguera stressed the importance of different works for the most optimal water supply for irrigators, and highlighting that the actions that are being carried out towards the spillways and scuppers of the sanitation network through the urban area.
In this sense, Noguera showed his concern for these basic infrastructures to adapt and modernize properly, being very sensitive his passage through the area of the school on Avenida de Mula, which is closing at this time, recalling that what has been carried out in the storm tank was not performed in the most optimal way, as well as other streets of interest for the same action in the streets Martínez Abellán, Valle Inclán and San Isidro Labrador.
