| It is part of the programming of actions to repair the damage caused to the regional network, in which 4.7 million have already been invested euros | The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure completes the recovery works of the regional highway that connects the towns of Mula and Pliego and Casas Nuevas (RM-C5), which was affected by the Dana rains last September. The General Director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, recently visited the regional road that has an annual traffic intensity of 5,000 vehicles.

Thanks to this work, traffic conditions will be improved in the face of new episodes of rain. Fernández Lladó explained that the action on the RM-C5 has consisted of repairing the water crossing work transverse to the RM-C5 road, in which there had been a hole in the foundation of the existing arch during the rains of the dana. "Its structure has been stabilized thanks to the reconstruction of this foundation using cyclopean concrete," explained the person in charge of Highways, who indicated that the work includes the repair of the fins of the downstream arch and sealing of fissures in the pavement. 4.7 million already invested in repairs This work is part of the 89 with the programming of actions to repair the damage caused in the regional network, for which the Autonomous Community has requested aid valued at 14.7 million euros. The director recalled that the Community has already invested a total of 4.7 million euros, since September last year, in the repair of the regional roads affected by the rains and that no state funding has yet been received.
