The Ministry of Education and Universities will invest 1,185,440 euros in the construction of a new school in the municipality of Pliego.
The Director General of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, presented this morning the project of this new infrastructure to the educational community.
The estimated constructed area is 1,068 square meters, with a useful area of ​​954 m2 distributed in six kindergarten classrooms with their respective toilets, as well as a multipurpose classroom, in this first phase of construction of the educational center.
In addition, it has a school dining room of 200 square meters, another 150 for the teachers' room, the dependencies of the association of parents, toilets and other dependencies.
Finally, the project incorporates another 150 square meters destined to playground.
Valcárcel said that "it is a modern, sustainable educational center that will be fully integrated in the environment in which it is" and noted that "from the regional government we continue to work to further strengthen educational infrastructure."
In this way, once the project is presented, it is planned that the school will be built before two years.
