The Municipality of Pliego gathered a good number of merchants of the municipality to transfer relevant information on how to access public aid from different agencies and try to coordinate more fluidly, directly and dynamically the task of promoting local commerce.
In this meeting, the mayor of Pliego, Pedro Noguera, aimed to develop a global strategy for the promotion of local trade and reported on procedures to access different public subsidies, especially the € 3,000 provided by the Institute for Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO)
In this regard, the need to establish itself as an association to benefit from these public initiatives was emphasized, and it was agreed to take the necessary steps by developing the initial registration during this week to any merchant who wishes it and go to the Town Hall during the morning to join. .
Once the association is established, there is a firm commitment on the part of the General Director of Commerce and Consumption of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Abril, to go to Pliego and explain in an open and participatory way together with the Municipality of Pliego and the merchants about all the aspects and aids that can be accepted.
