The parish of St. James Pliego continues to celebrate the Jubilee Year, awarded by the Bishop of Cartagena, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the temple.
His parish priest, Don Angel Soler says that many associations of all kinds, parishes or schools that are close to Pliego to gain indulgences.
Concrete and the priest are 20 parishes that have made pilgrimages to Pliego, as they did this past weekend 110 parishioners of St. Mary of Guadalupe Guadalupe village of Murcia, next to his priest D. Francisco José García .
The day began with a welcome to the Ermita de la Virgen de los Remedios, then pilgrimage walk to the parish of St. James where the Pilgrim's Mass was celebrated.
On September 7 will close this Jubilee Year, the day which also held the Canonical Coronation of the patron saint, Nuestra Señora de los Remedios.
