Pliego's neighbors have a new primary care clinic that is designed to give health care to a population of 5,500 people.
The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, along with the mayor of Pliego, Isabel Toledo, today inaugurated the new facility which has invested a total of 546,346 euros, of which about 490,000 are provided by the Ministry of Health and consumption.
The new center, located in Calle José Manuel Ortín, has an area of 595 square meters on a plant where three family medicine clinics, a pediatric and three nurses, one for children.
These units are summed extractions room, three lounges modules and internal departments such as management and staff.
The building also has a data network that enables the implementation of electronic medical record that connects this facility to other hospitals.
The center also offers service appointments.
Pliego Township belongs to the basic health area of Mula, which is included in the Health Area 1, West Murcia.
